El Faro Latino extends the investigation into former PLD-FP New Jersey officials until 1996.

New York: The newspaper El Faro Latino has deepened the investigations into the financial and legal behavior of public officials of three members of the Political leadership of the Dominican party, Fuerza del Pueblo (FP) of the state of New Jersey, an organization led by former President Leonel Fernandez Reyna.

This has been possible because, within our investigations, we have found that Máximo Antonio Corcino also held the position of counselor minister of the Permanent Mission of the Dominican Republic to the Organization of American States (OAS). These findings establish that employing Decree 512-11, former President Leonel Fernández dismissed Máximo Antonio Corcino to put Flavio Holguín in his place in 2011.

For that reason, we are adding to our request an extension of the periods through the Law of Free Access to Information so that we receive detailed reports on the origin and application of all public money received or spent by Flavio Holguín and Máximo Corcino from 1996 to 2000 and from 2004 to 2020. For the former overseas deputy for the PLD in constituency #1 in the US, Alfredo Rodríguez Azcona, the 2012-2020 period, information that will be used in our investigations and published in the newspaper El Faro Latino and El Faro.News
