Santo Domingo, DR:- The Fuerza del Pueblo party announced that it would continue its fight in the streets in defense of Dominican families and demand that the Government pay attention to the increase in the products of the basic family basket.
After concluding the meeting of his Political Directorate, Radhamés Jiménez said that the organization would carry out activities in the coming months, including a great march on May 1, International Workers’ Day.
The ordinary meeting of the Political Directorate of the FP, held this Monday, was led by its president, Leonel Fernández, and lasted almost three hours.
“The march on May 1 will be the third major activity of this nature, since previously the young people marched from the Colón Park to the Altar de la Patria and later thousands of women from the organization walked from the Enriquillo Park to the Independencia Park, where they demanded that the government responsibly face the high cost of living,” he said.
