Santo Domingo. – President Luis Abinader will participate in the LVII Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Central American Integration System (SICA) in Belize, for which he will travel to this nation this Monday with a small entourage.
The president and his official entourage will leave for the Riversdale International Airport, Placencia, Belize, in the afternoon of this Monday, June 26.
The Head of State is traveling accompanied by a delegation made up of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Roberto Álvarez; the head of the Presidential Security Corps (CUSEP), Brigadier General Jimmy Arias Grullón; his assistants Eilyn Beltran and Mercedes Pichardo.
Upon his arrival at Riversdale International Airport, Placencia, Belize, he will be received by a commission headed by the Belize Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
President Abinader will start his agenda in this Central American nation at 6:00 pm by participating in a reception and cultural experience offered to Heads of State and Government, Ministers of Foreign Affairs, and Special Guests.
On Tuesday, June 27, at 8:40 in the morning, Abinader will participate in the LVII Ordinary Meeting of Heads of State and Government of the Central American Integration System (SICA) at the UMAYA Resort.
The session will begin at 8:45 in the morning with the words of the Prime Minister of Belize and President Pro Tempore of SICA, John Briceño.
At 8:50 in the morning, the words of the Secretary-General of SICA, Werner Isaac Vargas Torres, will take place.
At 8:55 in the morning, the agenda contemplates the Family photo of the Heads of State and Government of SICA, and then they will begin with the work session.
At noon the Prime Minister of Belize and President Pro Tempore of SICA, John Briceño, will give the closing remarks. At 12:05 in the afternoon, the Secretary General of SICA, Werner Isaac Vargas, will provide another speech.
The transfer of the Pro Tempore Presidency of SICA to the Republic of El Salvador is scheduled for 12:10 in the afternoon. At 12:15 pm, the Head of Delegation of this nation will be in charge of a few words.
The closing ceremony of the LVII Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Central American Integration System (SICA) will take place at 12:20 in the afternoon.
At 12:30 in the afternoon, President Abinader will participate in a lunch offered to the Heads of State and Government and Ministers of Foreign Affairs of SICA.
Once the event’s official agenda is over, the Dominican president will take his flight back to the country, where he will arrive in the early hours of the night.
