SANTO DOMINGO.- The woman who committed suicide at noon this Wednesday in the parking lot of an establishment on Avenida 27 de Febrero with Abraham Lincoln, from the capital, was identified as Laura Thoner González, 43, wife of the former owner of the National Treasury, Alberto Perdomo.
According to the preliminary report, the woman shot herself while inside her vehicle parked in the place. People in the parking lot called the National Emergency and Security Assistance System 9-1-1, whose staff took her to a health center but she died minutes later.
According to unconfirmed information, the lady suffered from depression and constantly attended consultations with a psychology specialist.
