Russia reportedly launched missiles at Ukraine on Thursday. It attacked its biggest oil refinery, according to Kyiv. At the same time, the leader of the Wagner mercenary organization warned it would take weeks or months for the long-besieged city of Bakhmut to fall.

According to Ukraine’s Air Force, Russia launched 36 missiles early on, continuing to launch massive bombardments after Ukrainian victories on the battlefield or in international relations.

Following a meeting of their leaders on Thursday, Britain, and Poland agreed that help should be increased in the coming weeks. NATO alliance officials had reviewed preparations for additional military gear for Kyiv the day before.

The Kremenchuk refinery was hit by Russian missiles, which also sent off air-raid sirens and caused unknown amounts of damage. The Air Force stated that the rate was lower than usual, with about 16 being shot down.

Ukraine said three KH-31 missiles and one Oniks anti-ship cruise missile were part of the barrage, but its air defenses could not intercept them.

In its evening report, the general staff said Russia had also shelled more than two dozen communities in the east and the south.
