The Dominican State accepts the request of El Faro Latino to open a financial investigation into the former overseas deputy of the PLD-FP, Alfredo Rodríguez.

New York: The Dominican State received and accepted this Wednesday afternoon the formal request of the newspaper El Faro Latino made through the Single Portal for Access to Public Information (SAIP), administered by the Office of Access to Information (OAI). Endorsed by the General Directorate of Ethics and Government Integrity (DIGEIG), so that, under the rigor of the Free Access to Information Law, the delivery of all financial information on the efforts of the former overseas deputy, Alfredo Rodríguez Azcona in the period 2012 -2016 and 2016-2020.

In the application form, the newspaper El Faro Latino requests everything related to the origin and application of all of Rodríguez’s income and expenses, including all salaries paid by the Chamber of Deputies of the DR, payments to staff, including secretaries, assistants, technical costs, air travel, fuel and toll per diem, keg and any other fees that he received in the chamber during those eight years.

The application approved by the official body is marked with the number: SAIP-SIP-000-74278 with the date: 2022-12-08, being 17:54:58. Requested by El Faro Latino, LLC. With Pennsylvania State Registration #3232784. Always following what is expressed in the application form approved by (SAIP), the commitment date for the delivery of the requested financial information was established on December 28 at 11:23 p.m. (2022-12-29 at 17:54:58).

The purpose of this request is to use said information in forensic audits and evidence in an ongoing investigation for a political crime and administrative corruption of the newspaper El Faro Latino on the diplomatic and congressional efforts of the leaders of the New Jersey People’s Force, the former deputy Alfredo Rodríguez Azcona, the former counselor minister before the OAS and vice consul, Flavio Holguín and the former Dominican consul in two periods at the New York consulate, Máximo Antonio Corcino.

All the senior officials of the Political Directorate of the political party La Fuerza del Pueblo (FP) in the state of New Jersey have proposed to defame and damage the image of the newspaper El Faro Latino and its director, Esteban Cabrera, harming the journalistic work of this medium, completely ignoring the inalienable right to freedom of the press enshrined in the First Amendment to the United States Constitution. On Friday, December 9, the newspaper El Faro Latino received the application acceptance form from Flavio Holguín, who spent almost ten years earning hundreds of thousands of dollars without being able to prove where he worked, except for a few months that forced him to go to DC.
