Vice President PRM NJ supports government actions to eliminate the mistreatment of Dominican women

New Jersey.- The vice president of the Section of the Modern Revolutionary Party, PRM, in the state of New Jersey, Agustina Almonte, expressed that she supports the actions carried out by President Luis Abinader and the government to eliminate the mistreatment of Dominican women.

Almonte described the physical abuse that originates against dozens of mothers in the Dominican Republic as problematic, many of which culminate in the fatal outcome of femicides.
She observed that these events had been avoided, thanks to the instructions of President Abinader, the Ministry for Women, and the National Police, where immediate attention is given to women who denounce their husbands, spouses, or lovers in cases of abuse and abuse.

She asked prosecutors, judges, and the Armed Forces to fully comply with the laws protecting Creole women’s physical integrity to minimize the violent actions committed against them.

Almonte referred to the issue when commemorating this Friday, the Day of Non-Violence against Women.
She rejected that the woman was mistreated and physically abused, while she demanded that the punishment for her aggressors be exemplary.
