NEW YORK An East Harlem incident that left a lady gravely wounded after being shot four times has a man on the run, according to the NYPD.
Avery Dunning, 35, is charged with attempted murder, according to the police.
The incident occurred on the sixth floor of the NYCHA Lincoln Homes on East 135th Street on Wednesday at 8:30 a.m.
Police claim that the guy and the woman, 41, argued.
The defendant allegedly fired at the woman, injuring her multiple times.
The woman suffered head, thigh, and stomach bullet wounds. She was sent to a hospital in a serious state.
After the gunshot, the suspect ran away in an unknown direction, according to authorities.
