When the victim arrived at Temple University Hospital, he quickly passed away.

A 16-year-old male was shot in the arm during the incident, according to the police. Despite initial reports to the contrary, sources tell Action News that he was not an innocent bystander.

Sources claim that the adolescent attempted to rob the 21-year-old male after entering the subway at the Susquehanna Avenue stop.

Sources claim that the teenager shot the victim many times after a fight. Philadelphia police described the gunshot as a “targeted attack.”

At the location, 14 fire cartridge casings were discovered. According to sources, the victim may have only received six shots, unlike the 11 reported in earlier reports.

The teenager was shot in the arm by the victim, who had permission to carry.

There were at least 12 passengers in the train car, but there were no additional recorded casualties.

The 16-year-old allegedly later appeared at the hospital but claimed to have been shot on a basketball court, according to sources. He vehemently denied being shot in the Broad Street and Fairmount Avenue subway stations.
All of that, according to insiders, changed when his mother showed up at the hospital.

He eventually admitted to the shooting after the mother realized her son was lying.

Sources said he revealed to police where he had hidden the gun.

The adolescent is still in prison after being released from the hospital.

The 16-year-old has reportedly been arrested twice before for theft.

Charges have not been made public.
