Prior to his speech against MAGA Republicans, McCarthy blasts Biden for “dividing the nation.”

On Wednesday, Biden is scheduled to speak at a DNC event a few streets from the U.S. Capitol.

EXCLUSIVE: In response to President Biden’s political speech on Wednesday night, House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy said on Fox News Digital earlier in the day that Biden is “dividing the nation instead of uniting it” and that the president could “get a very huge wake-up call” on Election Day.

Less than a week before voters cast their ballots and decided the balance of power in Congress, Biden was scheduled to bash Republicans at a DNC event held inside Union Station in Washington, D.C., only blocks from the Capitol.

Republicans and “election doubters” were to come under fire from Biden.

However, McCarthy, a Republican from California, claimed in an exclusive interview with Fox News Digital on Wednesday that the American people “aren’t buying” what he called Biden’s deflection.

McCarthy told Fox News Digital, “He is dividing the country instead of uniting it at a time when we need to unite. And he is doing that because he is unable to discuss the policies that have caused people to suffer, specifically the pain of rising living expenses and inflation.
The American people don’t buy that, McCarthy continued, “because they go to the shop every single day and they can’t afford to buy stuff and they worry about the future of their children.”

There is “a whole lot at risk” on Election Day, according to Biden, who also said that there are “350 [election] deniers…on the Republican ticket, anything from state house elections to secretary of state, governors, and senators.”

As Democrats attempt to retain control of the House of Representatives and the Senate, Biden is anticipated to dwell on these criticisms in his DNC speech on Wednesday night. He will also emphasize the importance of the midterm elections for democracy.

In a contentious primetime speech from Independence Hall in Philadelphia in September, the president attacked “MAGA Republicans,” claiming they “do not respect the Constitution.”
During a speech in September, Vice President Joe Biden stated that “MAGA forces are determined to move this country backwards to an America where there is no right to choose, no right to privacy, no access to contraception, and no right to marry who you love.”
McCarthy, who might become speaker if Republicans gain control of the House, claimed that Biden is concentrating on the “wrong problems.”
None of these things seem like what he is doing, according to McCarthy, who claimed that the country needs solutions, healing, and a unifier. He simply needs to concentrate on what the American people are asking, not the incorrect subjects.

McCarthy cited Democrats’ “lack of listening and their lack of attention on the concerns of the American people” as evidence that the American people are “searching for a check and balance because they have observed what one-party dominance has done.”

I believe the president is missing, so perhaps in six days he’ll receive a major wake-up call to concentrate on the subjects that the American public needs and deserves.
Voters are not buying the bluster, according to recent polls, as inflation is at a 40-year high. Although Biden’s approval rating has increased recently, a Fox News poll conducted last month revealed that Republicans are preferred by more probable voters than Democrats in the congressional election.

According to the same study, 89% of respondents expressed extreme anxiety about price increases and inflation, but only 74% did the same about the country’s persistent political differences.
