The sister of the late Dominican leader, Roberto Feliz, invites the diaspora to celebrate his life.

“To many, Warren was known as a serious and reserved person and he had layers, but as he got older. God softened his heart, and he began to destroy those layers, realizing some of his past mistakes, making up for lost time, and making it better to make things better. He became vulnerable like never before and humbled himself before the Lord. God started to do something new and in God's perfect timing, he took it away. He now is a new creation in Christ. Philippians 1:6 "He who began a good work in you will complete it on the day of Jesus Christ,"

“Warren was a loving older brother and was survived by three younger sisters: Ivette Feliz, Ruth Basco and Jacqueline Kaegi. He is preceded by his mother, Leida De La Paz Román, his stepfather, Melanio Román, and his younger brother, Eddie Feliz, who are together in heaven celebrating eternal life with Jesus Christ,” he continues.

“Warren was a unique character. He was always telling corny jokes and loved to play sports! And one of his biggest passions was anything related to Star Trek. He was certainly very given to walking. He also cared about his community and always wanted to help others. He made friends easily and had many of them, whether old or new friends appeared; they were all special to him. He had a distinguished career in construction safety and built a successful inspection business in the area,” the letter states.

“To many, Warren was known as a serious and reserved person and he had layers, but as he got older. God softened his heart, and he began to destroy those layers, realizing some of his past mistakes, making up for lost time, and making it better to make things better. He became vulnerable like never before and humbled himself before the Lord. God started to do something new and in God’s perfect timing, he took it away. He now is a new creation in Christ. Philippians 1:6 “He who began a good work in you will complete it on the day of Jesus Christ,” he continues.

To honor Warren’s memory, we will be holding a Celebration of Life on Friday, June 30, 2023, at May’s Funeral Home in Philadelphia. He will be buried in Greenmount Cemetery. We invite everyone who knew him to attend and remember his life hand in hand with him ”, concludes the letter written by Roberto Feliz’s brother addressed to the Latino community and to all who knew Roberto Feliz’s great resume.
