New York: Dr. Yomare Polanco, a candidate for overseas deputy for the Dominican Revolutionary Party (PRD), actively participated in a Christmas gathering organized by the association of Hispanic ministers in New York. This event, presided over by Reverend Rubén Díaz, was one of many where Dr. Polanco demonstrated his commitment to the Dominican community in the Northeast USA.
Upon his arrival at the event, Dr. Polanco, the candidate for deputy for Overseas District 1 for the white party, immediately began distributing gifts to the attending members. His actions brought joy to the event, as members participated in prize raffles and received gifts from him.
The activity took place in the area of the “El Maestro” events and exhibitions center, located in the Bronx County, where artists, journalists, influencers, religious leaders, athletes, community members, and local authorities also attended.
In another event Dr. Polanco attended, a Christmas party was sponsored for 100 families residing in different immigrant shelters in New York. The “Neighborhood Association for Inter-Cultural Affairs” (NAICA) organized the event, where dozens of children received toys and shared lunch with their parents and guardians for the seventh consecutive year.
The scientist and political activist has expressed in his political activism that his work for the Dominican community residing in the United States is a patriotic act done with love for his fellow citizens.
